This Practice offers an informal procedure to deal with your suggestions, comments and concerns about the service we provide.  

We aim to provide high quality care and welcome your suggestions as to how this could be Improved. 

We attempt to resolve problems swiftly and take appropriate action when we fail to achieve the high standard for which we aim.  Your comments on how we can achieve the best service is welcomed.  

If you feel that you need to make a comment or complaint about any aspect of our service, please ask to speak to our Practice Manager, Mrs. Jill Lewis who will be pleased to help.

We cannot promise to get everything right all the time, or provide the services that every patient would like us to.

However, we do promise to listen to your comments and will attempt to rectify our shortcomings.

We aim to give a high quality service to our patients. If you can suggest additional ways to address this, please address these to the Practice Manager.

We do operate a formal complaints procedure, but would welcome the opportunity to discuss any concems you may have, so if you feel dissatisfied with any of the services we offer, again please speak with the Practice Manager.



You may have come across the Friends and Family Test if you have visited other health care settings.

This Government initiative is now being rolled out to General Practice.

It is a very brief survey in which you are asked only 1 question based on your visit to the surgery:

“Would you recommend our service to your friends and family”

(There is a 2nd question for you to complete if you so wish, which asks if you would like to leave a comment.)

Responses can be completed on paper (cards available) in the Surgery, but if you would like to take part on-line then please follow the link to , enter your post code and select High Road Family Doctors, where you will be able to respond.  


We have recently set up a Patient Participation Group for the Practice. This is a group run by patients, for patients, with the intention of ensuring that the services we provide are suitable for all our patients. (It is not a venue for discussing individual patient concerns)
